If you’ve been following instagram.com/zarelywear over on Instagram then we’re almost sure you’ll have seen our Zarely Challenge that has been encouraging dancers around the world to test their creativity and take part in our #ZarelyChallenge where some of your favourite dancers have been trying their luck to win cash and store credit on zarely.co.
While the world is facing unprecedented times in this pandemic, the Zarely team have been working tirelessly to bring you some awesome home workouts, keeping you active and engaged with your routine and bringing you some beautiful inspiring photos to provide some inspiration to keep pushing forward.
We’ve had an amazing response so far to our home workouts and we’re pleased to announce that our online community of dancers has grown hugely in the meantime. We encourage you to share the content with your dancers friends, tag them in the workouts and reach out to each other in these times. Community is everything during this pandemic and we cannot stress enough how hard we are working to create an online community of dancers where you can feel accepted, push your limits and build stronger, closer relationships with dancers all around the world.
There’s also something more you or your friends might enjoy about the community that we’ve built. The Zarely Challenges. Back on the 3rd April 2020, which seems forever ago now as all the days are just rolling into one, we released our first Zarely Challenge with our community. Our community were set the task of recording a video demonstrating their most creative pirouette, tag some friends and post it onto Instagram tagging ZarelyWear. We were inundated with entires and had some absolutely outstanding options to choose from.
We set our community four days to complete the task before we would name the winners. The dancer with the most liked video would win first place, and 2nd and 3rd would be decided by the fantastic Ruben Martin, Co-Founder of Zarely, Ballet Master with the Washington Ballet and Diego Cruz, Co-Founder of Zarely and Dancer with the San Francisco Ballet. They were blown away with the entires and as I scrolled through the entires coming through, all I can say is I’m glad it wasn’t me tasked with a seemingly impossible task!
On 7th April 2020, we announced the winners of our Zarely Challenge. There were so many fun and creative options that it really was a difficult task, even for our experts.

My name is Ramon and I’m a Ballet Dancer. As all of you already know, at the moment the world is going through a really hard time because of the Covid-19; so I decided to make something unique and very special! Unfortunately, I’m not able to leave my house, so for this reason, I have transformed my room, my kitchen, my bathroom, even my garage into my new Ballet Studio. It’s a challenge every single day but dancing is my life and dance never ever stops for anything! Right now we all have to be strong, stay safe and healthy because we are all in this together. I’m sure that when all of this is over... the lights of the theaters in every single country will shine brighter than ever and we will be able to express our Love for Ballet again! Stay strong, beautiful and positive! Love, Ramon 🇬🇧 @zarelywear #zarelychallenge #zarelyonquarantine #zarelywear
First place was taken by Ramon Agnelli. He created an outstandingly creative performance which featured a massively creative wake-up routine which we’d all dream of following. Getting undressed with pirouettes? Done. Putting on gloves and mask in a pirouette? Done. It was truly outstanding and we invite you to watch it to really appreciate its creative awesomeness. Ramon won 100$ and 100$ to spend on our online store.

Second place was Mackenzie Brown, who prides herself in sharing beautiful photos on her Instagram and encouraging her audience to be positive. She created a beautiful video which showed her creative side but also her technical skills. Mackenzie won a 100$ voucher for our online store.
3rd place – @chachiruli2308
In third place we named Chanell as our third place. She did a truly wonderful job with her pirouette video too and was provided with a 100$ store credit for her great work.
4th place – @joe_caley22
As we said, we had such a difficult job that we ended up choosing an extra winner! In forth place we named Joseph Caley a worthy winner. Lead principal dancer at English National Ballet, Joe created an awesome video with his cute dog in the background. What’s not to love?
We want to take this time to thank everybody for their wonderful contributions to the #ZarelyChallenge and encourage you to keep tuned for the next challenges to come about. We know you’re going to love them.
