I was born and raised in Manila, Philippines, and began ballet there at the age of three. From a very young age, dance became a constant part of my life — something I naturally grew into.
I fell in love with ballet because of its beauty, discipline, and the way it allows stories and emotions to be expressed through movement. I was drawn to the challenge of always improving while learning how to perform with artistry and intention.
Ballet now means much more to me than dance itself. It has shaped my character, teaching me perseverance, confidence, resilience, and discipline. It continues to push me to grow both as a dancer and as a person.
I am currently working toward becoming a more versatile and refined dancer, strengthening my technique while continuing to develop my artistry and performance quality.
One experience I am especially proud of is being trusted with leading and challenging roles, which have allowed me to grow in both confidence and maturity on stage.

Mikaela’s stage experience reflects both classical strength and a growing versatility as an artist. She has performed the role of Kitri, bringing strong technique, energy, and stage presence to the stage, as well as the title role in Giselle, an experience that deepened her emotional expression and storytelling as a dancer.
She has also danced the role of Swanilda in George Balanchine’s Coppélia, combining musicality, character work, and classical technique. Her repertoire includes performances in Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s Coco Chanel: The Life of a Fashion Icon and Frida, giving her experience in contemporary ballet and innovative choreography.
Looking ahead, Mikaela is excited to perform in a new full-length production of Swan Lake, choreographed by Remi Wörtmeyer, as well as George Balanchine’s Stars and Stripes. Together, these roles and experiences have helped shape her into a more versatile artist and remain among the proudest accomplishments of her dance journey.
